Accounting and Finance Specialist Salary:
$55,000 – $65,000

Key Responsibilities for the
Accounting and Finance Specialist:
  • Oversee daily billing and related accounting processes.
  • Assist in preparing and managing annual budgets.
  • Prepare financial reports, expense reporting, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate account reconciliations and support month-end financial activities.
  • Process check runs and help maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, and board-level reporting.
Qualifications for the
Accounting and Finance Specialist:
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related experience.
  • Experience within government, municipal, nonprofit, utility, or similar environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting processes.
  • Associate degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
