Billing Specialist (Invoicing / Finance Operations) - $44.82/hr
Location:
Dublin, OH (Hybrid/Remote noted; local to Dublin preferred)
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hrs/week (hours TBD) Remote work with flexible hours.

$44.82/hr Holly 586-710-7980 hromain@alinestaffing.com Summary Now hiring a Billing Specialist in Dublin, OH to support a high-volume billing and finance operations team. This role focuses on researching shipment/billing discrepancies, resolving exception items, and ensuring accurate invoicing using strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a customer-support mindset. Ideal for someone with experience in invoicing, billing operations, accounts receivable, pricing support, or contract/billing administration who can work efficiently within structured processes and internal controls. Responsibilities Research unmatched customer shipment transactions to identify the correct PO number and/or cost center allocation details so transactions can be invoiced Research and resolve exception lines and invoice discrepancies Identify root causes of recurring customer-specific billing behaviors and trends Develop solutions and recommendations to reduce future exceptions and improve billing accuracy Participate in daily/weekly billing team meetings to review metrics, open issues, and workflow priorities Respond to non-standard requests from customers and vendors while meeting service-level goals Maintain accurate documentation of findings, actions taken, and outcomes Work collaboratively in a finance environment with strong internal controls Qualifications 1+ year of experience in billing, invoicing, finance operations, accounts receivable, chargebacks, rebates, pricing support, or contract/billing administration (or similar) Strong analytical skills and ability to investigate discrepancies and follow processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
INDRS Pay:
$44.82 per hour
