We are seeking a detail-oriented Client Accounting Specialist to prepare monthly financial statements and support the financial health of the homeowners associations we serve. Position Summary:
The Client Accounting Specialist is responsible for preparing and delivering accurate financial statements for community associations from start to finish. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial integrity, supporting client satisfaction, and contributing to continuous improvement within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial statements for community association clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the entire process Analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain general ledger activity, including journal entries and account adjustments Ensure all reporting deadlines are consistently met in a fast-paced environment Communicate effectively with internal teams and to address questions and provide financial clarity Review financials for compliance with company standards and accounting best practices Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide insights and recommendations to leadership Support audits, budget preparation, and other financial projects as needed Qualifications Previous experience preparing financial statements, preferably for HOA or community association clients Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Preferred Qualifications Experience in community association management or HOA accounting Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Core Competencies Accountability and ownership of work Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence Ability to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment Core Values All Sage Management employees are expected to exemplify the company's core values: Seek to Understand Be Empathetic Strive for
