Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance and Accounting Implementation Specialist to support the Financial Systems team at client's in executing our global
SAP S/4HANA ERP
conversion. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in SAP S/4 implementation, particularly in the Finance, Accounting, and Tax areas. This role is focused on direct involvement in the implementation process, ensuring the successful integration of SAP systems within our financial operations, maintaining process consistency, and ensuring data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze Existing Interfaces:
Evaluate the current interfaces in the legacy ECC environment and identify opportunities for simplification.
Future State Interface Design:
Focus on the financial reporting, tax, and accounting impact of the future state interface design. Document the future state interface requirements, incorporating the standardization and simplification opportunities identified during the analysis.
Review Specifications and Technical Design:
Assess the specifications and technical design proposed by the development team and provide guidance on areas where there are gaps in requirements coverage.
System Integration Testing:
Oversee the system integration testing and provide impact analysis on build defects. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Organize and help execute the UAT for interfaces and tax reporting requirements.
Track Progress of Bug Fixes:
Monitor the progress of bug fixes and resolution of various testing issues to ensure interfaces are ready for timely deployment according to the project timelines
Non-Negotiables- Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation with a strong focus on Finance, Accounting, and Tax areas.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SAP Finance modules (FI, CO) and experience with ERP conversion projects. Hands-on experience with interface specifications and end-to-end testing in the Finance and Tax areas.
Project Management:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams, with a focus on direct implementation tasks rather than high-level project management.
Communication:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency. Global S/4
Implementation Experience:
LATAM implementation experience is a strong plus. Negotiables- Spanish language proficiency. Knowledge of international indirect tax requirements and compliance.
