Credit Union Loan Support Specialist - Premium Finance

If so, WCLA Credit Union may be looking for you! WCLA Credit Union is looking for a full-time Loan Support Specialist (LSS) to join its team in Olympia, WA. The LSS performs clerical duties primarily relating to daily management of WCLA Credit Union's insurance premium finance portfolio. The position will also serve as a back-up for loan support duties related to the commercial loan portfolio, consumer loan portfolio, and member services. This position will be Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the credit union's physical location in Olympia. WCLA Credit Union is a credit union for loggers and all persons and organizations engaged in forestry, timber, wood products, or related activities. We take pride in maintaining strong relationships with our members by delivering valuable financial services to meet the needs of the industry General duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Organized management of Insurance Premium Financing portfolio, including: Boarding of Insurance Premium Finance agreements, Collections activity for Insurance Premium Finance portfolio, Member services for Insurance Premium Finance portfolio, Insurance Premium Finance portfolio data reporting,
  • Back-up for commercial loan administration, including loan booking, collateral and insurance tracking,
  • Process loan payments, payoffs and other adjustments,
  • Provide back-up assistance to Member Service Representatives, including processing transactions, responding to member inquiries, opening accounts and other member service-related duties,
  • Providing administrative assistance to the CEO, VP of Finance & Operations, VP of Lending and Loan Officer(s),
  • Providing excellent service to all members by always offering a high level of professional service,
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements are:
A High School Diploma or the equivalent Previous teller and/or member service representative and loan support experience preferred Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Outlook and Word (skills test required) This position is open until filled.
