Position Levels Financial Reporting Specialist 1 (Entry-Level Professional) Review and edit agency accounting books for GAAP compliance. Assist agencies in preparing financial statements and disclosures. Provide training and support on GAAP and wvOASIS policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (with up to 24 hours in accounting) plus 1 year of GAAP-based financial reporting or auditing experience. Graduate coursework may substitute. Preference for CPA, CGFM, MPA, or MBA.
Salary Range:
$41,194 - $71,789 annually. Financial Reporting Specialist 2 (Experienced Professional) Approve GAAP adjustments, footnotes, and financial reports. Assist with RFPs for outside auditors and oversee contracted CPA audit work. Train agencies in GAAP and wvOASIS usage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (with up to 24 hours in accounting) plus 2 years of GAAP-based reporting or accounting systems experience. Graduate coursework or CPA certification may substitute. Preference for CPA, CGFM, MPA, or MBA.
Salary Range:
