Job Description

Come join our amazing team and work in our Greenwich, CT office! The SVP, Managing Director will be responsible for providing best-in-class modeling and analytics regarding MSR pool bidding, prepayment probability, recapture rate, cash flow projections, and other data mining quantitative analysis projects. Takes the lead in conversions of analytics and predictive modeling and establishes the foundation and process for future modeling projects. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The pay for this position is $200,000 + Discretionary Bonus. What you'll do: Build and manage the primary predictive models for agency and non-agency/NQM mortgages that may consist of traditional statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and AI generated modeling tools. Model and accurately predict prepayment rates, default probabilities, and credit characteristics on various internal sets of loans or potential MSR acquisitions. Develop and perform bulk MSR pool bidding analytics, including prepayment and credit curves. Perform cash flow analysis potential investments, partnerships, and products. Analyze and accurately forecast recapture rates Mentor and oversight of lower-level statistical ana Analysis staff with a strong focus on skills and knowledge transfer. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in a mathematical/statistical field required. Master's or PhD degree a plus. 5+ years of mortgage capital markets experience required. 5+ years of modeling experience with analytical, statistical, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills required. 5+ years of experience in portfolio management activities with primary focus on non-agency/NQM whole loan pools and new origination NQM residential mortgages. Must have a track record of effective problem solving and decision-making skills. Superior analytical, data mining, and predictive analytical skills. Executive level presentation and influencing skills Advanced computer skills including excel, SQL, python, and related industry applications Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry and capital markets Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and/or to develop forecasts and computer models Knowledge of the mortgage industry and capital markets.
