What you will do Source, evaluate, and implement alternative asset investment opportunities with a focus on risk/return, long-term return potential, diversification, capital/tax efficiency, and other client-specific considerations. Conduct manager due diligence, coordinating with other areas of SIM as appropriate. Develop/expand relationships with sourcing partners. Present recommendations internally. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on documentation. Conduct ongoing reporting and surveillance of investments and external managers. Monitor appropriate analyses for holdings. Maintain and improve repeatable processes for quantifying and reporting results as needed. Keep apprised of emerging industry trends and themes in alternative asset management and perform ad-hoc research projects as needed.
