Senior Director of Financial Reporting Los Angeles , CA Direct Hire Finance $165K to $185K 08/21/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Reporting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $165,000 to $185,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead financial reporting, accounting operations, and close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Review reconciliations, journal entries, forecasts, and financial analyses to support reporting quality and compliance. Manage relationships with auditors, tax professionals, and other key stakeholders involved in the financial reporting process. Lead special projects, including acquisitions, capital transactions, process improvements, and automation initiatives. Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to accounting teams while supporting cross functional business objectives.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) credential. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least five years in a leadership capacity. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, SOX compliance, and accounting operations within a public company environment. Previous experience with ERP systems and financial reporting technologies, preferably in complex organizational structures.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in both public accounting and private industry environments. Financial services, asset management, or investment industry experience. Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across teams and time zones. Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with a focus on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
