Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Colorado. In this role, you will oversee critical financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with expertise in SEC reporting and equity transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review SEC filings, including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage annual financial reporting processes and deliver timely, high-quality reports.
- Oversee equity transaction reporting and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Develop and maintain control matrices to support internal financial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Provide support during audits and assist in resolving any related issues.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on financial reporting.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis. Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K.
- Proficiency in managing equity transactions and associated reporting.
- Strong understanding of control matrices and internal financial controls.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and auditing processes.
