Job Description

Position Summary The Senior GL Manager leads financial reporting, forecasting, and budget-to-actual tracking across a multi-entity portfolio. This role owns the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting process, drives forecasting and cash flow projections across entities, and serves as the primary liaison with external CPA firms for tax return preparation. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities. Ensure GL activity is accurate, properly classified, and reconciled across all entities. Consolidate financial results across entities and funds as needed. Forecasting & Cash Flow Develop and maintain revenue and expense forecasts for multiple entities. Prepare cash flow projections by entity to support liquidity planning and cash management needs. Track budget vs. actual spending across entities. Track forecasted revenue vs. actual revenue for cash flow purposes. Tax Coordination Serve as primary liaison with outside CPA firm(s) for tax return preparation. Compile and deliver financial packages, schedules, and supporting documentation needed for tax filings. Intercompany & Fund Accounting Oversee intercompany transaction recording and reconciliation across related entities. Manage accounting for multiple funds, ensuring accurate allocation of income, expenses, and capital activity. Ensure entity-level and fund-level reporting ties out appropriately. Team & Process Supervise and support one direct report (Accountant), overseeing workflow and reviewing work product. Identify and implement process improvements in close, reporting, and forecasting workflows. Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects for ownership/leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA a plus. 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including GL management, forecasting and financial reporting. Experience managing multi-entity and/or multi-fund accounting structures. Experience liaising with outside CPA firms for tax preparation support. Proficiency with NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel, BILL, Divvy, Expensify, and Airbase. Fund accounting, intercompany relations, and tenant/property management accounting experience a plus. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
