In this role, you will help shape data architecture, support system and reporting enhancements, and drive stronger data governance and process improvement across Finance platforms. Work You'll Do:
As a Specialist Manager, Finance Systems on the Finance Systems team, you will be responsible for: Serving as a subject matter expert on Finance data structures across reporting and analytics platforms Partnering with Finance stakeholders on system changes, upgrades, and implementations that affect data availability and reporting Supporting Finance data governance strategy, resolving cross-functional data misalignments, and prioritizing remediation efforts Guiding data architecture, data feeds, lineage, and
S4/SWIFT
downstream reporting flows to strengthen reporting capabilities Collaborating across
S4/SWIFT, SAP
Sidecar, Workiva, and other Finance systems to design, test, implement, and support solutions Improving data quality and operational stability through automation, user acceptance testing support, production issue resolution, and stakeholder coordination The successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product Ability to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead projects or workstreams Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlines Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others The Team Finance Systems manages a portfolio of US finance applications and serves as a critical bridge between Finance and Technology. As subject matter experts, the team drives innovative solutions and change through the software development lifecycle, system governance, and change management to support the evolving technology needs of Finance and the US firm.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role Experience with reporting, data integration, data management, or data architecture within financial systems or platforms Experience with data governance and data quality practices Experience gathering business requirements, partnering with technical teams, researching system and process issues, performing root cause analysis, and supporting user acceptance testing and validation of accounting outcomes for finance or accounting system solutions Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
Master's degree Experience with financial systems and applications, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, trading platforms, or accounting software Experience working in Agile environments Experience with performance testing or security testing Hands-on experience with data integration tools and technologies The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,600 to $179,900. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
