Crews Bank & Trust is looking for a Commercial Banker to join our banking team in the Charlotte County market area. Are you effective in building relationships with business owners? Are you results driven and highly motivated? Passionate about providing solutions to help businesses expand, add ease to their operations or refinance their debt? The Commercial Banker/Lender is responsible for providing a full range of commercial banking services, including developing new business and client relationships; producing a variety of commercial loans; generating and managing a portfolio of business and corresponding relationships; seeking new accounts through calling efforts, marketing, and referrals; as well as coordinating the cross-sale and delivery of bank products and services to clientele while serving as a trusted advisor. This position will also have responsibility for underwriting, structuring, and closing commercial loans that meet established lending requirements and maximizes profitability to the Bank with minimal risk.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related field. Four or more years' experience of lending services in a financial institution or loan office setting. Proven sales skills and portfolio management. Extensive knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures. Good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with customers and prospects about the bank's loan programs and policies. Excellent sales, interpersonal and customer service skills Commit to gaining knowledge, skills and experience on an ongoing basis in order to better serve the customer, and increase personal satisfaction in position. Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, flexible and team-oriented work environment Knowledge of general banking products and services; ability to learn, comprehend and follow the bank's policies regarding the lending process.
