Job Description
Join the 1st Franklin Team Salary $18.00 to $20.00 per hour The Investor Relations Representative provides services and product information to Investors and prospective Investors utilizing knowledge of products and services. This position opens a variety of accounts and completes new account set-up and activation. The representative compiles and maintains records pertaining to Investment activities, research services, and processes transactions utilizing knowledge of systems and/or procedures. The Investor Relations Representative makes referrals to upselling and cross-sell a variety of services. Principle Accountabilities Performs a Variety of Investor Responsilities Open and close accounts for Investors with varying degree of complexity Provide account information and answer questions regarding a wide array of simple to complex account structure and rates Achieve sales targets and objectives Follow-up on potential investor leads Contact investors to meet established electronic statements and ACH metrics Upsell and cross-sell products and services Participate in community events Provide back-up to switchboard and Drive-Thru as needed Maintains Financial and Regulatory Control Handles and balances cash drawer accurately Processes mail, telephone, online, walk-in, email, and drive-thru investments Performs dual control functions of opening night depository and balancing vault Completes purchases, withdrawals and transfers for investors Achieve exception goals to mitigate errors in system and investor documentation Creates Exceptional Customer Experience Respond to customer needs in a timely and efficient manner as established by department Actively contact potential investors, as well as maintain and build existing relationships Ensure customer confidentiality and private information is maintained Education, Qualifications, and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Serving our customers by working onsite at the Investment Center is an essential function of this job (working from home is not permitted under any circumstances) Comprehend and verbally communicate all Investment services Ability to work assigned Saturdays Demonstrate the ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgement Strong interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and social and business settings Ability to organize and prioritize Team focus Ability to maintain confidential information Basic understanding with MS Office Suite products with a concentration in accurate keyboarding Ability to operate standard office equipment
