00 an Hour A Member Experience Representative is responsible for assisting and servicing members in a professional and courteous manner as a front-line public relations representative; prepare and properly maintain records of all necessary membership account information; and processes member account transactions over the counter, drive-up, telephone and through the mail.
Essential Functions:
  • Receives checks and cash for deposit to savings and checking accounts, verifies deposit amounts, examines checks for endorsement and negotiability, and posts transactions.
Cashes check and pays money from savings and checking account upon verification of signatures and members account balances. Reconciles share draft accounts, process share draft check orders per member request. Process and transacts mail correspondence of member's deposits, payments, and withdrawal requests. Prepares response to account verification requests.
  • Maintains accuracy throughout all phases of work and ensures cash drawer and daily work is balanced on a daily basis. Prepares daily bank deposit.
  • Promote and explain other credit union services such as IRA's, certificates, safe deposit boxes, travelers checks, and money orders, and loans.
  • Process membership applications, determines eligibility, opens and verifies all new accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Process ATM/check card orders and card fraud disputes.

Gym Wellness Reimbursement Requirements:
Education, Experience, Certifications and or Licenses:
Associate's degree from an accredited college; or a High School graduate plus six (6) months experience as a Teller in a financial institution or six (6) months cashiering experience involving daily balancing and reconciliation of a cash drawer or "bank". Must successfully pass background checks and pre-employment drug test.
Interpersonal Skills:
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organizations, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising or referring, which commonly require shorter discussions.
ADA Requirements Physical Requirements:
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer sitting for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private office with minimal noise. Mental and/or
