Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Provides full-service banking to individuals, with emphasis on financial counseling, lending, and customer service.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Meets the credit needs of individuals seeking secured or unsecured loans. Provides deposit related services to customers. Cross sells retail and trust services. Calls on potential and existing customers to develop new business by promoting company services and products. Must have valid driver's license. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position. Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position. Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Three (3) - five (5) years lending experience, preferably with one (1) or more years in business lending. Knowledge of trust products and services. Strong sales and proactive calling skills. Strong relationship management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to network with bankers in developing new business opportunities. Good PC skills -proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential. Highly motivated. Professional demeanor. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Good written and verbal communication skills.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel to off-site locations for meetings, projects, seminars, etc., as well as ability to travel overnight.
