Associate Financial Representative Northwestern Mutual - 3.7 Mishawaka, IN Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Administrative experience Client services Time management Office experience Full Job Description Associate Financial Representative (Part-Time) Position Summary The Associate Financial Representative plays a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience by providing administrative, operational, and client service support to the practice. This position helps maintain an efficient and organized office environment, allowing Justin Ashkenis to focus on client relationships and financial planning. The Associate Financial Representative serves as a liaison between clients, the home office, and support teams while ensuring timely communication, accurate processing of requests, and outstanding service. This is a part-time, in-office position ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and interested in the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities Client Service & Administrative Support Manage client files, correspondence, and case notes. Maintain client records and ensure information is accurate and up to date. Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate follow-up meetings. Answer and direct phone calls and respond to client inquiries promptly. Prepare meeting materials, proposals, and reports for client appointments. Process forms, service requests, and documentation requiring client signatures. Communicate with clients regarding outstanding requirements and follow-up items. Coordinate marketing events, seminars, mailings, and client outreach activities. Maintain office supplies, marketing materials, and administrative records. Insurance & Investment Support Review applications, policy changes, and service forms for completeness and accuracy. Coordinate underwriting requirements, including medical and paramedical exams. Monitor case status and assist with resolving outstanding requirements. Process client service requests, including address changes, banking updates, and policy inquiries. Assist with investment and annuity paperwork as directed. Gather and organize information for client meetings and financial planning discussions. Work with Northwestern Mutual, NMIS, and other partners to resolve client service issues. Provide account and policy information to clients as directed by the advisor. Qualifications Previous experience in administrative support, customer service, or a related professional office environment preferred. Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or healthcare administration is a plus. Health and Life Insurance License preferred, or willingness to obtain within three (3) months of employment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality and client service. Desire to learn and grow within the financial services industry.
