The team includes relationship managers, client managers officers, treasury management officers and others that provide a suite of products and services that serve companies of this size. The objective of the group is to earn the title of trusted advisor and help these companies grow and prosper in our community. As the Business Banking Regional Team Lead , you will be responsible for managing the sales production, profitability, and annual growth of financial products & services by providing commercial lending, and banking services to Small and Medium Business accounts, defined as companies with annual revenue up to $20MM. How you will spend your time: Provide strategic direction and leadership to Relationship Officers to pursue development of new and existing customer accounts. Lead a sales team in one or more markets consisting of Team Lead (I and/or II), Relationship Managers, Client Managers, and other local administrative support personnel as needed. Provide strategic direction and management of budget, FTE, recruitment, portfolio growth & items related to the Market P&L. Sustain profitability and annual growth of sales of financial products and services through providing commercial lending, , and banking services to the Small and Medium Business accounts through designated staff. Plan and execute regional sales meeting(s). Develop revenue, volume, and market share objectives for assigned staff and market area. Ensure team is monitoring and managing existing credit relationships, which includes note renewals, reviewing, and detailed analysis of current financial statements and collateral valuations, credit analysis, cash flow analysis, delinquency reporting, documenting exceptions, and covenant monitoring, compiles reports necessary to monitor asset and credit quality and compliance with policy/regulation. Participate in community and professional activities in order to enhance the bank's image and expand personal network of business contacts for development of new business and new banker recruits. Collaborate with market piers to drive overarching Regional Strategy. Other duties as assigned. We're excited to talk to you if: You possess a bachelor's degree. You have 7+ yrs of Business Banking experience with 3+ years leadership & sales management experience. You have 3 yrs of Commercial credit experience OR any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background. You have strategic thought leadership and tactical implementation and problem-solving skills. You have proven sales management abilities. You have ability to build and grow sales opportunities within a market through prospecting, account management and business development activities. You have knowledge of Business and Small Business Banking products, systems, policies/procedures and regulations. You demonstrate solid Credit and Underwriting acumen. You have excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills. You have demonstrated ability to develop staff. You have ability to build relationships and inspire trust across the organization. You have ability to present and convey information that influences and calls individuals to action.

Compensation Range:
$176,796 - $260,029 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and what it expects to be the starting pay for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
