Job Description

Overview Community Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative where everyone is welcome. We're looking for a Financial Service Representative (Relationship Specialist) to join our Member Relations team — someone who enjoys helping people, building relationships, and making a positive impact through everyday financial interactions. In this role, you'll support members and potential members with their account needs, open and maintain deposit and loan accounts, explain products and services, and connect members with solutions that support their financial goals. In this role you will also work one-on-one with individuals to provide financial education, help navigate financial challenges, and connect individuals with relevant Credit Union services and community resources that support their financial goals. Whether you're assisting someone in person, over the phone, or through digital services, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, supportive member experience. As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), our work goes beyond transactions. What You'll Do:
Build meaningful relationships with members by assisting with account openings, closings, and maintenance Open and support a variety of deposit and loan accounts, including checking, savings, money markets, certificates of deposit, IRAs, and consumer loans Explain Credit Union products and services clearly and identify opportunities to cross-sell solutions that benefit members Assist individuals in navigating their lives through financial counseling and referrals to community partners to access resources. Work with employees and partner businesses and other referred individuals one-on-one, as couples, in small groups or in classrooms. Serve as a Membership Officer by reviewing and approving new account documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance Support electronic services and digital banking programs, including debit and credit card services and resolutions
What We're Looking For:
One to three years of experience in financial services Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine desire to help others Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with care and professionalism Comfort working with digital banking tools and technology (or willingness to learn) A collaborative team player who values integrity, inclusion, and community impact Why Join Community Credit Union? Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
