ABG was founded on retirement plan consulting, and today our experienced team works closely with clients to manage, monitor, enhance, and optimize their retirement plans while ensuring compliance with ever-changing regulations. The Relationship Manager supports the Retirement Plan Advisor in servicing and growing client relationships by managing client communications, coordinating plan administration, supporting new client implementations, and delivering ongoing retirement plan consulting services. Essential Functions
  • Serve as the primary contact for retirement plan clients, responding to inquiries, supporting ongoing service needs, and building strong client relationships.
  • Partner with the Retirement Plan Advisor to manage client onboarding, plan implementations, annual reviews, employee education meetings, and ongoing communication.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to support plan administration, evaluate service levels, and facilitate vendor transitions when needed.
  • Support retirement plan compliance and due diligence efforts, including client notifications, reporting, and ongoing regulatory assistance.
  • Prepare client deliverables such as proposals, plan performance reports, review materials, presentations, and participant education resources.
  • Maintain accurate client records, develop departmental resources and procedures, and provide administrative support for client service and special projects. Competency
  • Basic knowledge of retirement plans, investments, or financial services.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications.
  • Professional, proactive, and client-focused mindset. Credentials/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Industry-related licenses, registrations, or professional designations (e.g., FINRA Series 6, Series 63, Series 65/66, CRPS®, CPFA®, or similar) are preferred but not required. Work Environment
