Job Description

Job Overview The Cash Management Associate supports the Business Development Banker by coordinating sales activities, managing client onboarding, maintaining prospect pipelines, and assisting with commercial deposit relationship growth. This role ensures a seamless customer experience while handling day-to-day administrative duties. By managing these operational tasks, the associate allows the banker to spend more time networking, making sales calls, and developing new relationships
Responsibilities:
Assist with onboarding new deposit relationships. Support ongoing customer retention. Prepare account opening documentation. Coordinate treasury management and cash management implementations. Manage CRM and pipeline tracking. Assist with prospect and client meetings as needed. Prepare sales call reports and conduct portfolio reviews for additional sales opportunities. Monitor client service issues and coordinate resolutions. Support referral tracking between business banking and commercial lending. Support new business acquisition activities. Prepare account opening documentation and onboarding packages. Manage CRM records, sales pipelines, and prospect tracking. Coordinate customer meetings and follow-up communications. Prepare proposals, presentations, and client review materials. Assist with commercial cash management product implementation. Assist with business development events, networking activities and community development. Track referral opportunities between banking and lending teams. Generate reporting on sales activity and portfolio growth. Resolve routine customer service requests. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, online banking software, and core digital banking platforms; CSI and Apiture experience is a plus. Exhibit a high level of customer service orientation. Display a friendly and personable demeanor, an ability to multitask, and a high degree of integrity. Must be trustworthy, conscientious, courteous, of stable temperament, self-motivated, highly organized and be accountable for personal conduct, actions and decisions. Strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to effectively respond to customer needs and willing to solicit feedback to improve service. Ability and desire to quickly learn and understand complex software, including but not limited to core banking applications and ancillary products. Knowledge and understanding of Bank Regulations, including but not limited to electronic banking, deposit regulation, and NACHA operating rules. Excellent time management, organization, and independent work abilities. Self-starting, strong desire to learn, and keen problem-solving abilities are essential. Ability to write in a technical and professional manner, including procedure and correspondence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to research complex problems, form sound decisions, and deliver effective solutions. Ability to function in a high-volume environment and within time constraints to meet deadlines. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives under minimal supervision. Proven capability to multitask effectively in response to shifting operational needs.
Education and Experience:
Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and/or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) or similar certifications desired but not required. 2+ years of banking, sales support, or customer relationship experience, preferably with a focus on Treasury/Cash Management. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Knowledge of deposit and treasury management products preferred. CSI NuPoint preferred, but not necessary.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
