Job Description
The College Financial Representative Internship provides students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning, business development, and client relationship management while working in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment. Students from a variety of academic backgrounds gain real-world experience helping clients work toward their financial goals while developing professional skills that are valuable across financial services, sales, leadership, and business careers. The internship offers access to experienced mentors, industry-leading resources, and the support of a Fortune 500 company. Through the internship, participants have the opportunity to: Build a client base through prospecting and networking. Meet with prospective clients to understand their financial goals and priorities. Develop financial plans and provide personalized recommendations. Gain exposure to financial planning software and industry tools. Obtain Life and Health insurance licenses. Participate in weekly coaching, training, and professional development sessions. Work alongside experienced financial professionals on planning strategies and client solutions Develop business, communication, sales, and relationship-building skills The College Financial Representative Internship offers a flexible schedule designed to fit around classes, extracurricular activities, and other commitments. Through our year-round platform, participants can continue growing their practice while receiving support toward professional registrations and certifications, including investment and securities licensing where applicable. Participants receive mentorship, access to leadership development opportunities, and the opportunity to build a strong professional network while gaining practical experience in client acquisition, relationship management, and financial planning. Interns also have opportunities to attend leadership development events, connect with successful advisors and industry leaders, and gain real-world experience working with clients and building a business. Whether participating as an intern or as part of the development program, individuals are supported through a culture focused on personal growth, professional development, and entrepreneurial success. Eligible Interns may also have the opportunity to interview a full-time Financial Representative or Advisor role upon graduation.
