full-time Our corporate banking client is seeking a motivated individual to join their FinMarkets Sales team and support client coverage, business development, and revenue growth across North and Latin America. Strong Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are preferred, particularly for building and strengthening relationships with clients across Latin American markets.
Position Summary:
Joining our 18-month Graduate Program will give you the on-the-job training and support you require to become successful in this role with our client. The program is designed for recent graduates and you must therefore have graduated from Undergraduate or Graduate school within the past 12 months. We are looking for a graduate to join our Capital Markets (CM) - FK-CM, FinMarkets Sales (sales) team. The FK-CM, FinMarkets Sales Graduate Trainee graduate role supports the sales coverage of FX, Commodities, and Money Markets products for Financial Institutions and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) across North America and Latin America. The position assists with client management, trade execution, business origination, and sales strategy development, working closely with Relationship Managers and Trading Desks. Key responsibilities include preparing sales and management reports, analyzing client and market data, supporting client engagement activities, and identifying opportunities to enhance revenue generation and strengthen client relationships. While the FK-CM, FinMarkets Sales Graduate Trainee, will be seated within the FK-CM, FinMarkets Sales (sales) team, he/she will have the opportunity to support Sales teams covering North and Latin America in New York.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work together with colleagues in the Sales & Trading team to maintain, support, grow & expand our FM product franchise focusing on voice and electronic sales, client segmentation and streaming optimizations.
- Develop knowledge of client needs, patterns and requirements in order to build existing relationships with clients, e channel partners and other relevant parties.
- Miscellaneous responsibilities as required.
Experience /
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor's degree or similar level qualification; a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management preferred.
- Knowledge and passion for finance industry.
- The above responsibilities require an individual that is eager to learn and extremely self-motivated, has the capacity to work independently and coordinate efforts within and across the CM team.
- Spanish and/or Portuguese communication proficiencies.
- Excellent Excel and Word skills, high level of computer literacy (VBA preferred).
