Job Description

Member Service Representative About the Role We are looking for a Member Service Representative to provide friendly, knowledgeable service and help members find products and services that meet their financial needs. This role combines member service, account transactions, product education, and relationship building. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable identifying opportunities to connect members with the right financial solutions. Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional service and create a positive member experience. Assist members with account and transaction requests accurately and efficiently. Learn and explain credit union products and services to help members meet their financial goals. Identify opportunities to recommend and cross-sell products and services based on member needs. Build and maintain positive relationships with members and coworkers. Work with other departments and branches to resolve member needs and provide efficient service. Maintain knowledge of credit union products, services, promotions, policies, and applicable regulations. Follow all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain a professional and helpful approach in all member interactions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer service or financial services experience preferred. Comfortable learning and explaining financial products and services. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Excel experience is a plus. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Compensation $18.50-$20.50 per hour The final offer may vary based on experience, education, training, internal equity, location, and other business considerations.
