Full-Time Shift 1 Job Description In support of the financial objectives of the organization, the purpose of this position is to analyze resident payment responsibility and provide financial information and solutions to the patient and/or designated representative. This includes recovering funds on unpaid, aged accounts receivable by gathering information on a client's accounts and subsequently performing reconciliation. In addition, make recommendations to the manager for litigation, write off to bad debt, and guardianships. Education And Credentials Associates Degree required, Bachelors degree preferred. Experience Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. This position requires initiative, solid judgement, and independent thinking plus resourcefulness. Must possess organizational skills and analytical ability. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to LTC finance preferred. Three (3) years patient financial service experience required preferably in accounts receivable. PC, Calculator skills required. Ability to understand the functionality of financial system and Microsoft applications required.
