Monday-Friday The Agri Business Banker role will focus on developing and managing relationships with customers in the agricultural sector, providing them with specialized financial solutions tailored to their unique needs. This role combines business development, portfolio management, and exceptional customer service. Success in this position requires a passion for agriculture, an appreciation for the challenges and opportunities facing producers, and a commitment to helping customers achieve their financial goals. The responsibilities listed below represent an overview of the position; additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in bank business development activities and represent the bank to the public in such a manner as to enhance the reputation of the bank. Inspect farm operations and make on-site visits to monitor collateral, update projections, and appraise borrower's management ability. Performs financial analysis and reviews operating statement. Work directly with Farmer Mac and FSA on delivering flexible credit and lending solutions for the rural sector. Identify prospects in the community, build relationships, identify and understand the customers' needs, and then build solutions to help the customer's business thrive. Collaborate with internal partners to cross-sell bank products and services, including loans, deposits, treasury management, and insurance solutions. Evaluate customers' financial statements, production records, and creditworthiness to make informed lending decisions. Participate, prepare and present credit proposals to credits committees for approvals. Meet individual and team goals for growth, income, asset quality and expense control as established in budget and performance plans. Manage a $20-25 million portfolio of agriculture banking customers, ensuring their financial needs are met and risks are managed effectively. Perform regular reviews of customers' accounts and financial health. Work with customers to restructure loans and develop workout plans as needed. Assist customers with cash flow management, working capital optimization, and other financial strategies. Ensure all customers' documentation is complete, accurate, and complies with bank polices and regulatory requirements. Stay current with all agriculture banking regulations and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Compliance Responsibilities:
Ensure all activities comply with federal and state regulations, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and other applicable lending laws as needed in role. Adhere to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements as needed. Maintain confidentiality of customer information and follow all privacy and security guidelines. Follow internal policies, procedures, and secondary market guidelines for loan processing and documentation.

Ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Physical Requirements:
Intermittently remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time and occasionally move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal noise.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Five to Ten (5 -10) years of agricultural lending experience required. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
