Essentials Duties and Responsibilities Collection of all lockbox and EFT batches once posted on the GE/IDX system Reconciliation of all payments posted in the GE/IDX system by all Patient Accounts Payment Posting Representatives to the individual deposits in the Cash Clearing System Dispersing of payment batches appropriately once reconciled in Cash Clearing System Responsible for maintaining all policy and procedures Participates in unit progress meetings Reports errors or problems that affect the ability to reconcile in the Cash Clearing System Seeks guidance from Supervisor for unusual circumstances Performs additional duties and assignments as requested Qualifications / Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Demonstrated knowledge of physician billing preferred Excellent oral and written communication Computer proficient Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
