As a Member Service Representative/ Retail Banker, you'll be the welcoming face of our branches—helping members manage their finances, solve problems, and access the products and services that support their financial well‑being. Position Summary The Member Service Representative/ Retail Banker provides high‑quality service to members by performing a variety of paying, receiving, and account‑related functions. This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to member satisfaction. MSRs handle daily cash transactions, maintain financial records, and support branch operations while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with credit union policies. Key Responsibilities Assist members with opening and closing accounts, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other financial transactions Actively cross‑sell credit union products and services based on member needs Provide friendly, professional service in person and over the phone Balance daily cash drawer and verify transaction totals Process money orders, cashier's checks, and other negotiable instruments Maintain accurate member records and update account information Support branch operations through assigned clerical, receptionist, and administrative tasks Prepare daily deposits and maintain organized records Assist with research requests and document retrieval Follow all security, compliance, and audit procedures QualificationsEducation & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Coursework or experience in business math, communication, or financial services preferred Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, banking, or cash‑handling roles Skills & Abilities Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal Ability to provide exceptional member service with courtesy and professionalism Comfortable working with computers, calculators, and standard office equipment High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to learn and follow financial policies, procedures, and regulations Ability to work collaboratively with team members and maintain positive relationships Other Requirements Ability to meet physical demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, etc.) Valid Tennessee driver's license Must be bondable Why Join Enbright Credit Union?
