Job Description

Treasury Management Officer About the Opportunity We are partnering with a well-established financial institution seeking an experienced Treasury Management Officer to join its commercial banking team. This position is ideal for a relationship-focused banking professional who understands the cash management needs of commercial clients and enjoys developing new business. The Treasury Management Officer will work closely with commercial lenders and business bankers to attract deposits, deepen client relationships, and provide customized treasury solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow treasury management and commercial deposit relationships. Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and partnerships with commercial lenders. Meet with business owners, CFOs, controllers, and other financial decision-makers to understand their cash management needs. Recommend treasury solutions designed to improve cash flow, liquidity, efficiency, and fraud protection. Sell and support products including ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, Positive Pay, commercial online banking, merchant services, sweep accounts, and other treasury solutions. Partner with commercial lenders and relationship managers to cross-sell treasury and deposit products. Assist with treasury product demonstrations, proposals, implementation, and client onboarding. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial clients while identifying opportunities to expand those relationships. Stay current on treasury management technology, payment trends, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements. Work collaboratively with operations, lending, compliance, and other internal departments to provide a high level of client service. Qualifications Previous banking experience with exposure to treasury management, cash management, commercial banking, or business banking. 3+ years of experience in treasury management, cash management, commercial banking, business banking, or related financial services. Knowledge of commercial deposit and treasury management products. Strong relationship management and business development skills. Ability to understand client operations and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Experience working with commercial businesses and financial decision-makers. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of ACH, wires, fraud prevention, commercial online banking, and related treasury services. Proven ability to develop new business and expand existing relationships. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent banking experience will be considered. Experience partnering with commercial lenders on C&I and CRE relationships. Existing business relationships or a strong professional network within the market is a plus. CTP, AAP, or other relevant treasury/payments certifications are a plus but not required.
