Thank you for considering the following position in your job search! We are currently seeking a Financial Services Rep / Member Services Sales for a credit union located in Hampton, VA ! Do you have banking sales experience or sales experience and would like a career in banking? If so, then this is the job for you!

Type:

Full-time, temp-to-hire

Pay:

$ 20.00-$21.00/hr Branch hours: Monday -

Friday:

8:30am-5:00pm & Saturday 8:30-12:30

Responsibilities:

Provides members and potential members with impeccable service in person or over the phone. Use consultative selling to offer financial products and services. Identify opportunities to increase membership and product sales. Engagement and educating members on credit union products and services. Selling and offering financial products and services to members in person and over the phone. Processes new accounts, additional share types, and IRAs. Processes consumer loan products including personal, auto, home equity line of credit, and credit cards. Process all types of transactions for members, including balance inquiries, transfers, payments, loan advances, account opening, and all other requests. Educates members on products and services, making referrals to internal business partners.

Requirements:

Two years of sales or service experience advising customers on products and services along with professionalism and a positive attitude that fits into a face-to-face financial institution environment.

or:

One year of experience in a bank, credit union, or financial institution along with sales experience. Two-year degree or bachelor's degree a plus!
