- Description
- The Member Relationship Officer creates a positive and memorable member experience by building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong member relationships by providing personalized service and proactive financial guidance.
- Identify member needs through consultative conversations and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions.
- Assist members with opening, maintaining, and servicing deposit accounts and related services.
- Interview loan applicants, gather and analyze information, and provide appropriate recommendations to support lending decisions.
- Process member transactions and account maintenance accurately, efficiently, and confidentially.
- Resolve member concerns and inquiries with professionalism and a focus on delivering positive outcomes.
- Educate members on ancillary lending products, insurance options, and other financial solutions that support their needs.
- Achieve individual and team sales, service, and performance goals.
- Refer members to specialized partners, including Mortgage Lending, Financial Planning, Investment Services, Treasury Management, and other financial solutions when appropriate.

- Minimum of one year of customer service and sales experience.
- Previous experience in banking, credit union, or financial services environments preferred.
- Financial Counselor Certification or similar credential is a plus.

- Demonstrated ability to identify needs and recommend products and services that provide value to members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with members and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable software applications.
- Flexible availability, including occasional Saturdays.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
