Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process retail sales transactions. Handle cash, credit card payments, and process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns with enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, following food safety guidelines. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring proper food safety practices are followed at all times. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without compromising quality or service standards. Qualifications Previous barista experience or café experience is preferred; familiarity with beverage service and drink preparation is highly valued. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a positive guest experience. Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment during peak hours.
