The Role:
AML Specialist The AML Specialist plays a critical role in protecting the integrity of the financial system. This position focuses on reviewing, monitoring, and investigating alerts related to potential money laundering and financial crimes activity. The role requires hands-on experience within AML operations and the ability to perform in a structured, production-based environment. Key Responsibilities Investigate alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems to identify potentially suspicious activity Analyze customer transactional behavior against expected norms and identify anomalies Perform follow-up reviews and conduct due diligence on flagged activity Document investigative findings clearly for internal review and potential regulatory examination Partner cross-functionally to obtain Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) information Apply AML regulations, policies, and procedures consistently in daily operations Participate in ongoing training to remain current on regulatory requirements and best practices Collaborate with technology teams to optimize monitoring rules and system performance Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) New Graduates with relevant internships with exposer to
KYC / AML / SAR
candidates with financial crimes ( LEGAL ) backgrounds are also welcomed Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, criminal justice, legal studies, or a related field (strongly preferred) Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Proven ability to work in a production environment with KPI and scorecard expectations Comfortable navigating multiple systems and applications simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills
