Compensation:
$15 per hour What you'll do! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Loss Recovery Agent to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting our dealerships to save accounts by locating and recovering vehicles from customers who have skipped, are going through Chapter 13 bankruptcies, or are refusing to pay. This position also acts as a liaison to recovery agents for active accounts. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process Helpdesk tickets received for the Collections department. Assist dealerships with vehicle recovery process by providing a list of approved agents outside of dealership footprint. Assist dealerships by utilizing third party web platforms to recover customer vehicles. Assist lots by providing updated customer information through skip tracing efforts. Assist dealerships with impounded vehicles. Entered detailed notes in ALIS regarding customer account notes. Send condition reports via email to dealerships for recovered or impounded vehicles. Assist dealerships with decision-making on recovered vehicles in order to obtain the best possible outcome. Assist in processing dismissed bankruptcies as needed. Maintain an up-to-date list of repossession laws, by State. Maintain an up-to-date list of tow and impound notice requirements, by State. Communicate with General Managers and Account Representatives on a regular basis to help teach and train best practices in vehicle recovery. Qualifications High School Diploma Proven experience in asset recovery, debt collection, or a similar role Strong knowledge of debt recovery laws, regulations, and procedures Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Benefits and Perks Beyond competitive base pay, great perks include 401(k) match, stock purchase plan, PTO, health plan choices, and much more.
