Job Description

Position Summary:
Performs a variety of customer service and routine administrative tasks to ensure efficient and courteous operations in the Purchased Referred Care Department. Those duties include but are not limited to; retrieving medical records, sorting, matching and scrubbing claims, mailing claims and managing claims with missing information.
Critical Tasks:
Receives and documents all incoming notifications. Processes and distributes all departmental mail. Scrubs all incoming claim forms for proper documentation. Responds and follows up to all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner. Assists with filing paid claims and paperwork in patient financial files. Maintains inventory and orders supplies for the Purchased Referred Care department. Reports maintenance issues for office equipment. Performs other job-related activities as requested.
Required Quailifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. 1 year of customer service experience preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
