Job Description

The Claims Payment Processor is responsible for the audit and payment of claims authorized by the TWS Claims department. In addition to processing payments, as necessary, the Claims Payment Processor will assist with inbound and outbound phone calls that do not require an adjuster skillset. Processing claim payments requires a high level of attention to detail and good organizational skills to ensure payments are processed correctly and records are stored correctly. The Payment Processor must be a proactive team player with a focus on excellent customer service.

•Must be able to work 10 AM - 7 PM EST

•Essential Duties & Responsibilities Audits invoices received for payment Monitors inboxes and queues to ensure payments are handled to meet deadlines Forwards payment requests to underwriter as applicable Resolves payment status inquiries from internal and external parties Assists with inbound and outbound phone calls as necessary Effectively collaborates and communicates well with contract holders, vendors, teammates, and all employees throughout the organization High school diploma or GED 2 years' experience working in customer service Accounts Payable experience preferred Must type at least 20 wpm Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and maintain confidentiality at all times Must be able to multi-task and effectively balance competing priorities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skill Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
