Job Description

Gulf Ice Systems, Inc. Warranty Administrator As a Warranty Administrator, you will maintain the warranty parts cage and submit all warranty claims through the proper channels. You will quickly and accurately determine if the machine is in warranty, which manufacturer the claim is submitted to, and if the parts are required to be returned. You will credit customer invoices, and process all warranty claims correctly and in a timely manner with-in the guidelines set forth by the manufacturers. Organizational and communication skills are a must.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintains and controls warranty claims, parts, and customer labor payments Communicates and tracks department goals and objectives Follow guidelines and procedures set in place to process warranty claims Recognizes and practices safety rules and procedures Responsible for meeting or exceeding established customer service standards. Resolves customer escalations and work with factory to resolve issues
WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and meet other physical requirements such as bending, stooping, and squatting
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Attention to detail Ability to work independently under limited supervision Ability to work with others (Team player) Ability to solve problems Ability to multi-task Ability to research information Excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Must have practical knowledge of computer operations, data entry, and computer applications (specifically Microsoft Office) Basic understanding of ice machine and beverage dispensing equipment is a plus
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School/GED Valid driver's license and a good five year driving record are required.
