POSITION OBJECTIVE

Support NWFHN and its provider network in providing exceptional child protection services by ensuring data quality and producing informational, management and performance reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and completeness in compliance with state child protection guidelines.
• Assist in generating reports for internal performance tracking and external reporting to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and other regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with case managers, supervisors, and other staff to identify and correct data discrepancies.
• Provide training to staff on data entry processes, FSFN usage, and best practices for maintaining data quality.
• Support the agency's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives by providing accurate data for analysis and planning.
• Assist with maintaining FSFN and other data systems, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in coordination with IT staff.
• Act as security officer for Child Protection systems including managing access to the Department of Children and Families' systems
• Assist with programmatic and/or administrative monitoring
• Assist with the development and writing of policies and procedures regarding data
• Understand, support and promote the organization's mission, vision and values.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university OR more than two years' experience with child protection system and with the Department of Children and Families' Child Protection Information System (FSFN)
• Experience with data analysis and reporting software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office programs
• Driver's License (Class E - Private Vehicle)
• Drug Testing/Screening
• Background Checks
• Reference Checks
• Motor Vehicle Record Check

PREFERRED

• Experience with Microsoft SQL/Microsoft Access/ Business Objects/Power BI/Python
• Experience with website maintenance
• Experience with child welfare system
• Experience with the Department of Children and Families' Child Protection Information System (FSFN)
