This is NOT a remote position. This is an onsite position located in Rome, Georgia. Orthopaedic Specialty practice seeking a full-time Medical Claims Follow up Represenative with 2-3 year's medical claims follow up experience. Ability to handle A/R follow-up and knowledge of insurance appeal procedures required. Knowledge of coding guidelines to include

CPT, HCPS, ICD-10

required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment a must Responsibilities to include but not limited to: Follow up on submitted charges (office and hospital including surgical) in a timely manner Insurance registration and verifying coverage EOB denial management Insurance correspondence including submitting appeals Research and process refunds Review documentation to ensure proper coding Process and analyze billing reports to improve the revenue cycle Speak with patients in clinic upon request Prior experience with daily balancing and payment processing a plus Compliance with all governmental and regulatory agencies Identify and report to management any payer issues with regards to billing and collection Other billing task as necessary
