Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Bilingual Claims Representative for an on-site contract opportunity in Des Moines, IA. This role is ideal for a Spanish/English bilingual customer service professional with call center, financial services, fraud, claims, or investigations experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound customer calls related to fraud, claims, and account concerns.
  • Investigate potentially fraudulent activity and assist customers with resolution steps.
  • Identify and submit customer complaints when appropriate.
  • Navigate multiple systems and applications to research information and complete assigned tasks.
  • Prioritize daily work independently while meeting team and operational expectations.
  • Support team performance by sharing knowledge and recommending process improvements. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay rate: $19.00 to $19.72 per hour.
  • Location:
    Des Moines, IA 50309.
  • Work arrangement: On-site.
  • Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM start time as assigned.
  • Duration:
    6-month contract project with possible extension based on performance. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, financial services, fraud, claims, investigations, or a related field.
  • Spanish/English bilingual proficiency.
  • 1+ year of call center or phone-based customer service experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications efficiently.
  • Strong judgment when handling sensitive customer and fraud-related matters. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in fraud and claims operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working in a contact center or high-volume phone environment.
  • Strong initiative and ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
