at Auto Job Experts in Antioch, Illinois, United States Job Description Automotive Warranty Claims Processor We are seeking an experienced Automotive Warranty Claims Processor to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have prior dealership warranty administration experience and a strong understanding of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures. This role is responsible for accurately preparing, submitting, and following up on warranty claims while ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Process and submit manufacturer warranty claims accurately and in a timely manner. Review repair orders for proper documentation and coding. Monitor and resolve rejected or unpaid warranty claims. Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and manufacturers regarding warranty eligibility and claim status. Maintain organized warranty records and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies and dealership procedures. Reconcile warranty schedules and assist with warranty audits. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous automotive dealership warranty administration experience required. Knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures. Experience working with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or similar). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel. Valid driver's license preferred. Pay is competitive and negotiable based on dealership experience, manufacturer certifications, and overall qualifications.
