Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medicare Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Medicare claims, ensuring accurate coding, and facilitating seamless medical billing processes. Your expertise will help optimize revenue cycle management while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Review and process Medicare claims, verifying all information for accuracy and completeness Utilize DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group), CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding, ICD-10, and ICD coding systems to ensure precise billing and documentation Manage medical collection efforts by following up on unpaid or denied claims Enter data accurately into billing software, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve billing discrepancies Maintain detailed records of medical coding, billing activities, and claim statuses Stay updated on healthcare claims management regulations and insurance policies Skills Strong knowledge of
DRG, CPT
coding, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards Proficiency in medical collection procedures and healthcare claims management Experience with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting purposes Familiarity with billing software, EMR/EHR systems, and medical records management Excellent understanding of medical terminology and medical billing processes Ability to deliver exceptional customer service while handling sensitive health insurance information Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical coding and records management Join our team to contribute your expertise in healthcare billing and coding! Pay:
$16.50 - $18.25 per hour
