George's Family Pharmacy, Inc. is a family owned and operated business dedicated to providing home medical equipment, prescription medication, respiratory services, insurance, and home modification solutions throughout Indiana and into Ohio and Kentucky. With multiple locations throughout Indiana, we offer a one-stop-shop with that hometown feel committed to providing convenience.
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
We are rapidly growing and have an opening for a CSR/Prior Authorization Specialist in Batesville, IN. Hours of operation are M-F 9am-5pm, occasional Saturdays are required. We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills, effective communication and professionalism.
Other requirements include:
prior experience with insurance review, prior authorization, medical review, or working on an insurance team. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate with insurance companies for insurance verification, claim follow up and resolution. Data entry and Brightree software experience is preferred. In this role, you will ensure that all claims have appropriate codes and that medical necessity has been met for the equipment that is being provided. In addition, you will work with private insurances to ensure medical necessity, attach any necessary documents to the claims in order to obtain payment in a timely fashion, post payments as received, ensure timely follow up for denied claims and create/maintain patient files.
