We're looking for talented, driven individuals who want to grow with us. Assistant Claims Processor We have an opening for a full-time life insurance Assistant Claims Processor. This position involves working directly with our clients and processing policy benefits. A qualified candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, be customer focused, detail oriented and able to work quickly and accurately in a deadline driven environment. This position requires being on-site at the Investors Heritage home office in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in processing life insurance claims and policy benefit transactions Manage inquiries, document claim activity, and support timely claim resolution Assist clients by phone and written correspondence, including email, with claims filing instructions Perform data entry related to claims and supporting documentation Organize print, mail, fax, and email paperwork Scan and index documents into the electronic imaging system Work with internal departments to obtain missing or required claim information Other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

Some college‑level studies or at least one year of relevant work experience. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to take on new tasks as needed. Strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Able to exercise independent judgment and follow established procedures.
