Vendor Claims Coordinator

Premier Flooring is a market leader in the Louisville builder market, who recently acquired Sam Kinnaird's Flooring, a market leader in retail flooring. This combination has produced significant growth recently and are still expanding! As a result, we are looking for a highly energetic and experienced Vendor Claims Coordinator to join our team! We are looking for someone who shares our core values: Integrity Professionalism Selfless Service Positive Attitude Loyalty We are looking for an experienced Vendor Claims Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the claims process and providing support to our customer service, sales and inventory teams. This role reviews claim files and ensures that all documentation is accurate, up to date and communicated with relevant parties. The successful candidate will investigate claims, assess liability, and work with our suppliers for settlements. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently
Required Skills:
Excellent research and documentation skills. Organized, thorough, detailed and a logical problem solver. Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects, to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly. Must be flexible to quickly adapt and respond to changes. Flooring knowledge is a plus. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.Responsibilities:
Respond calls, emails and/or other requests from our customer service and inventory teams regarding warranty claims, delivery damage claims and incorrect deliveries within 24 hours. Review the claim file to ensure accuracy and completeness. Investigate the claim file to determine if inspections or additional information/documentation are needed prior to filing claim with the supplier File claim with appropriate supplier and manage the claim until closure. Ensure all required product samples are sent to the supplier, with tracking documented. Work with our inventory team to ensure all products have a return authorization and are returned timely. Follow-up on open claims, maintaining proper documentation of follow-up communication. Ensure proper credits are received from suppliers in a timely manner. Escalate any slow or outstanding claims to Leadership. Monitor and report trends in claims. Develop and implement procedures for claims handling. Accurately and completely capture all necessary information and update systems appropriately. Be flexible, organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
