Trust Receipts Processor Daven M Hill Chapter 13 Trustee Shreveport, LA Job Details Full-time $41,000 - $45,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance On-site gym Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Research Full Job Description Overview The Trust Receipts Processor is responsible for matching and posting payments received by multiple means to individual cases. These duties include reviewing payment files for errors; researching cases; communicating with all levels of staff, attorneys, bank trustee management team, and employers; and daily and monthly reconciling and reporting. The Trust Receipts Processor also serves as the backup to the Trust Account Specialist in the monthly and interim distribution of funds, assists with annual audit preparation, processes and posts returned payments, and performs other duties as assigned by the Comptroller or Trustee. Skills High school graduate or equivalent Two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience High attention to detail Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to understand and quickly apply new concepts Satisfactory Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook skills Ability to work independently, and still ask questions when necessary Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy Skilled in data entry, account reconciliation, and account analysis with high accuracy (10 key typing). Effective phone etiquette for client communication regarding receipts or collections issues. The selection process will be confidential and competitive. The selected candidate will be required to undergo a background check and drug testing prior to employment and possibly during employment. All employees of the Trustee's Office are "at-will" and subject to removal at any time. The annual salary and benefits for this position are determined by the Trustee's operating budget and are subject to approval by the United States Trustee. Starting salary will be based on years of experience and qualifications.
Pay:
$41,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
