Job Description:
Under the direction of management, the Claims Denial Associate monitors, researches, and resolves rejected claims while instituting processes to minimize claims denials.
Job Duties:
Performs claims follow up procedures on unpaid and denied claime in a timely manner. Conducts all denial follow up activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and insurance company guidelines. Identifies reasons for denied claims and institutes processes to minimize claims denials. Works with practice staff to improve front-end revenue cycle processes and performance to reduce denied claims to meet benchmarks.
Minimum requirements:
CPC required High school diploma or equivalent 2 years experience in physician office setting preferred Current knowledge of
CPT, ICD
9, HCPS, and modifier codes Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
