Approximately 3-6 months About the Role We are seeking a Medical Claims Specialist to provide temporary support to a busy healthcare team. This role is a great fit for someone with experience in medical claims, medical billing, healthcare finance, insurance, or revenue cycle who enjoys detailed, process-driven work. You'll review a high volume of medical claims to determine whether services are related to a specific healthcare program and route/process them appropriately. The process is straightforward, but requires strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. What You'll Do Review and process medical claims within EPIC Determine whether claims are related to the patient's designated healthcare program Route claims to the appropriate insurance or payment source Review supporting medical and billing information for accuracy Work through a high-volume claims queue Follow established procedures to ensure claims are processed accurately and efficiently Assist with additional billing or claims-related projects as needed What We're Looking For Previous experience with medical claims, medical billing, health insurance, revenue cycle, or healthcare finance Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with a high volume of repetitive transactions Ability to learn new processes and apply guidelines consistently Good computer and data entry skills Epic experience is strongly preferred , but not required for the right candidate This could be an excellent opportunity for a Medical Biller, Claims Processor, Patient Account Representative, Insurance Specialist, Revenue Cycle Specialist, or healthcare administrative professional looking for a temporary assignment with consistent weekday hours.
