Job Description
Entech Medical Staffing is looking for a Part-time Administrative Assistant to support the Claims Dept. This will be 3 days a week,
Monday-Wednesday:
Remote. The Training will be on-site in Ann Arbor for 3 days. You will be assigned a laptop and headset. You will answer phones, process incoming faxes and provide information to the customer. You may need to go onsite to the client as needed. Candidate must be within driving distance to Ann Arbor, MI. The hours are Monday-Wednesday, 8am-4:30pm, with 30 minute unpaid lunch.Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and assist with customer inquiries.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone.
- Process incoming faxes - attaching documents in the claims database.
- Setting up claims in the claims database.
- Claims support for the entire department.
- Look up claims information and provide information to the customer.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree is a plus
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of claims processing is preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Microsoft Office Suite, and basic internet and web-based application skills
