This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of benefit payments while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and is committed to maintaining accuracy and compliance throughout the claims review and payment process. This team is responsible for issuing benefit payments to customers and partners while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Responsibilities include claims investigation, payment processing, records management, fraud prevention, and eligibility verification. The department is dedicated to delivering a positive customer experience through effective communication, quality assurance, and sound risk assessment practices. Key Responsibilities Investigate claims and analyze information to determine appropriate outcomes and next steps. Communicate claim status updates and findings to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders throughout the investigation process. Evaluate claim documentation and authorize payments or claim denials, providing clear explanations and supporting rationale. Review claim files to ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards. Process a high volume of claims while meeting established service-level agreements and turnaround times. Conduct eligibility reviews, loss investigations, and fraud prevention activities when necessary. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits, quality reviews, regulatory requirements, and potential litigation. Handle inbound telephone inquiries regarding claim status, policy provisions, exclusions, and payment details. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve complex claim issues and ensure a positive customer experience. Utilize company systems and technology tools to efficiently process claims and manage payment records. Qualifications Previous experience in benefits administration, claims processing, insurance, financial services, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of benefit claim processing and payment administration. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Customer-focused mindset with a compassionate and professional approach. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
